Ok:)..It takes about 5-10 minutes to be warmed up with didj then it gets better and better with every minute the longer I play the better..it takes me away and back and away through timelessness and spacelessness.:)..there is no cold and no hot just the sound and pleasure of the ability to play..plenty of movement and dance for the soul..it is treasure of the existence and the pleasure of every breath.. |

I get into a state of interconnected trance it feels like time and space start to fade away there is only a "now" moment but time doesn't matter anymore. In fact I might say that everything seems to be getting closer as to go to one point until it reaches a zero point. I simply feel real good. For a moment there there is nothing to worry anymore nothing to ponder about fullness in emptiness and emptiness in fullness. After having played I wish nothing more than staying in that state of being as long as I can or permit myself. |

First time I was able to circular breath I was at a festival called dream time in colorado. I walked into a tipi filled with didges and was talked into doing didge massages and learning circular breathing. I picked up a didge I made and never really played and knew I would circular breath. I started playing and got it right away after months of trying all I needed was a change in my head. I started giving massages and people kept coming in. I played with very few breaks for over 3 hours. I massage more people than I could count. It was one of the most euphoric experiences I have ever had. My lips were so swollen I could barely talk. Ahhhh good times. |

I enter a heightened state of consciousness. I can appreciate the texture of the sound itself without my mind asking where the rhythm is going. I visualise forests caves underground cities people and creatures. I feel I ma awakening a knowledge long dormant inside me. |

After long periods of playing I feel that the vibrations of the didj have freed up a lot of physical and mental stress. I experience better breathing when I'm congested and regular playing does seem to reduce my sleep apnea and snoring |

Very relaxing. Especially when I play for more than 10 minutes. Sometimes I'll just close my eyes and feel the flow. When I put the didge down after that I feel very good. |

I feel extremely light headed. The didge I have is a bamboo type from indonesia with indonesian markings. However there is hardly any back pressure so breath runs out very quickly. Also I have a european nose that doesn't let me breath in quick enough... ah well... at least I try.:-) |

Its quite an enlightening feeling. After playing for 5 minutes the sound seems to flow out on its own; I don't have to think too much about what I'm doing I seem to enter another world. After playing for 10 - 15 minutes I feel extremely relaxed and somewhat enlightened. |

I took three didges I had made on a hot summer camping trip. I had just learned how to make noises my daughter and her partner had never played one before. The three of spent about 3 hours playing/instructing. Several people stopped by including campground administration; all entered and left with big grins. While it was the hottest night of the year we had found a way to wrap ourselves in content joy and curiosity. |

It is meditating when I keep up with it for a few minutes continuously as long as I'm not straining to do it and makes me feel wonderful afterwards every time. I also jam with other musicians and it keeps a great tone and energy for the jam. |

In order to play for more than a few minutes you need to find a nice rhythm. I'm not going to say that I get in a "zone" like some others have noted but all the muscles involved in playing seem to begin working on their own like an involuntary process. |

The context in which the didgeridoo is played has a very important role here. I only play for extended periods of time in the context of actually doing something with it - in a shamanic ring in a didgeridoo-healing session etc. At the same time my playing supports what is happening and what is happening supports my playing. Most of the times I can't really remember very well what I played... it just happens on it's own. |

I've sat down and played my didge for at least an hour on numerous occasions but I don't know how to circular breathe so I wasn't able to just play continuously. Despite that playing the instrument for extended periods of time is very relaxing and very stress relieving. I believe there's a really primal connection there with the Didge. It doesn't have any machinations to it not man made adjustable parts or anything. It's just you the didge and your own voice. And of course my lips are always kind of numb and fatty feeling afterwards. |
