Mesmerizing. A dear friend actually brought hers into the hospital and played it toward my abdomen where I had surgery. The healing energies were very powerful. I instantly float into a trance-like state whenever I hear its rich sounds. |

I remember a man playing the didj in a shop in Alice Springs when I was a teenager and absolutely falling in love with the mesmerizing sound and desperately wanting to learn how to play. I have had a couple of cheaper didjes but would really love a great quality and sounding didj now to learn and play on. |

On holiday in Australia we visited a shop where there were many Aboriginal tools (old and modern) I brought a modern wooden boomerang with aboriginal paintings on it. My memory is vague as to whether there was an old man playing a didge or if it was from the shops music system... |

The low drones and sharp whistle of the didgeridoo spin a tale of warm dry days and cool star lit nights of the life lived on the red earth of the Australian outback. Distant yelping dingos and chirping Willie Wagtails flow through this beautiful instrument. |
