Like natives in many countries they have likely been pushed aside by the modern world but also likely to have learned to keep one foot in each world. I imagine also poverty and lack of opportunity is also a big problem. |

Very wise spiritual people that unfortunately were introduced to money making them stop wanting to continue the life of a bushman making them like lost souls that are missing their lives back refuging themselves in alcoholic beverages. |

I went to a boarding school in Australia with 2 Australian Aboriginal boys in the year below me. They were always friendly and were fantastic sportsmen one of whom very often marked Australian Rules Footballs with one hand. Amazing. |

Practical people with an earth centered culture. Spiritually in tune with nature. Land based and unique culture not apparently related to other places on earth. Very old culture. Known for the Didgeridoo. The sound of the Didge conjures up a mystical image of ceremony and ancient knowledge. |

Aborigines impress me as the original humans who have had their culture greatly compromised by foreign invaders like many indigenous peoples across the world. Also had a very intense vivid dream with aborigines. |

I admire their way of life. As an American I feel that too much of our planet is being destroyed by industrial consumer driven lifestyles. Aboriginal culture respects nature an understands the value of it. |

For a time I used to live in Darwin a lot of Aboriginal people live there. They would often give talks about their culture and their history. And the main impression I got from them is that they an amazing people but very misunderstood if people new more about them I'm sure a lot would change. |
