There is a lack of community in the greater part of the west. While some countries have much pride in themselves there is a great sense of community amongst aboriginal peoples that is not present in the west. |

Aboriginal society loves the earth and lives in harmony and balance with it. Western society takes from mother earth and is consumer driven. |

[Generally Speaking ]Western Society is one of Consumption Political Manoeuvres for power and wealth; at all costs (from the destruction of natural environments and species because of our growth and human life itself). Aboriginal Society is one of connectedness with the earth from which we all are. |

I don't really know as I am immersed in Western society. I can only speculate. It's easy to idealize Aboriginal societies from the Western perspective and I'm sure it's also equally as easy from the other side. I would guess that one of the main differences is that most Aboriginal communities place a much higher value on community interconnectedness than we do in western society. |

The difference is in a way of thinking and habits probably but generally we're all humans and we should learn from one another. |
