Mostly it is friends and other open-minded folks who are willing to try something different. We generally began by playing directly into the chakra areas and solar plexis areas. Also by holding a Djembe drum with the skin side touching the area you want to be affected we play the didj into the open end and it amplifies the resonance of the vibrations. |

I experienced this on myself when I first got my didj. I can feel the lower energy centers and solar plexus vibrating faster. When I first started playing I noticed within the first week that my digestion improved I slept more deeply at night and my eyesight was a little clearer for a couple of hours after I practiced. These things have continued as health benefits for me. |

Our dog who is very old now and who's back legs are getting very bad comes and lays under the mouth of my didge when I practice (I'm still very much a beginner!) and drifts off into a daze (I don't think it's sleep!) so I can move the bell of the didge over him. I concentrate on him feeling relaxed and free from fear and tension after all there is no healing from old age but there is from the affects of it! He never moves till I finish. |

I attended a Sound Mystery school where I learned about toning last year. At one of the weekends we had a didgeridoo artist come and play for us. I laid down on the floor and let the sound wash over me. Loved it. Could feel the sound the energy move through the body. I am interested in learning to play the didgeridoo well and use it in energy healing. |
