That's a difficult question to answer; Western Society (such as it is) has caused the Aboriginal people much hardship and turmoil since their initial meet (as was typical of Governments in that time period). It's unfortunate that the Hallmarks of Western Society are Consumption and Ownership (and by connection the all mighty dollar); and despite this they work with 'Westerners' and share their culture with us generously. |
