The full bench of the High Court has rejected an appeal by two Northern Territory members of the stolen generations who sought compensation. Lorna Cubillo and Peter Gunner sought compensation in the Federal Court for pain and suffering caused when they were removed from their families under the Commonwealth's Aboriginal ordinance. Their case has taken six years before being dismissed today. |
