Police nab 400kg of kava

| Northern Territory police have uncovered about 400 kilograms of kava, with an estimated street value of $400,000. Police seized the intoxicating substance overnight after a four-day surveillance operation near Nhulunbuy, on the Northern Territory's north-east coast. A 33-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman have been arrested. They will appear in the Nhulunbuy Magistrates Court at a later date |
